Windows 10 migration: a series of sprints

When starting a Windows migration understanding exactly what applications are required for your migration is a challenge. Often projects simply start by packaging all the applications identified with high users counts upfront. Creating a huge amount of work before any users are able to be migrated.

This often takes the shape of a spreadsheet that becomes pivotal to the coordination of the application migration effort. We’d recommend utilising a tool like Migration Studio, which provides a single pane of glass for the whole project.

Enabling the project to be broken down into a series of manageable sprints means you can start sooner and finish sooner.

If done right, you are also embedding a toolset or process for managing migrations and you BAU applications for the future.
