It was a busy week for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days on the booth with the Hyperfish team at Microsoft Ignite in Orlando.
It was great to have the opportunity to evangelise the technology to so many different companies of diverse sizes and industries. I am more convinced than ever, that Hyperfish really is the technology to solve the challenge organisations face in managing and maintaining people data.
Whether the problem is around ensuring that your AD Profiles are rich and up-to-date, allowing a rich and collaborative experience in Office 365, SharePoint and Delve. Through to the more serious problems of providing a mechanism to capture and update emergency contact details for your employees. Hyperfish should be front and centre of any HR or IT team that are struggling to manage employee data and ensure that it is maintained and complete.
To make things even better there were two major announcements that were launched at Ignite:-
1) Hyperfish Lite, which allows you to see Hyperfish in action across your organisation for free to get photos updated and into Active Directory.
2) Hyperfish Integration Framework, which takes the same capabilities to capture, validate and approve employee data into Active Directory, and extend it into HRAS systems like Workday and SAP.
If your organisation struggles with inaccurate, incomplete or frankly missing employee data you should take a look at Hyperfish today.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an EU regulation due to come into force on 25 May 2018, at which time businesses and organisations’ responsibilities for the handling and processing of personal data will change.
In less than two years, Microsoft will end extended support for Windows 7. With an estimated 69%* of corporations still to migrate to Windows 10, now’s the time to start thinking and planning a successful transition.
